Leydig is pleased to announce that Aaron Feigelson and Wes Mueller of the Leydig Chicago office received a favorable outcome for 3D Diagnostix, a manufacturer of dental surgical guides. After 3D Diagnostix was sued for infringement on three patents, 3D Diagnostix filed a Petition for Post-Grant Review (PGR) with the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office (USPTO) that challenged the validity of one of the asserted patents. After briefing, depositions, and oral argument, the USPTO issued a Final Written Decision finding that all challenged claims are unpatentable.
