Leydig, Voit & Mayer Ltd., an intellectual property law practice of over 80 attorneys, patent agents, and scientific advisors, seeks a part-time or full-time Patent Agent or Scientific Advisor for our Chicago, IL or San Francisco Bay Area, CA offices.
Candidates should possess strong writing/analytical skills, superior academic credentials, and a technical background in physics, electrical or computer engineering, or a related field. An advanced technical degree as well as experience in the intellectual property field is preferred. Mandarin language skills are required.
We will train the Patent Agent or Technical Advisor to become an active member of our Electrical/Computer practice, which includes the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and performance of other tasks relating to our practice, including litigation support, interferences, transactions, counseling and licensing.
