Diversity in IP Law Fellowship

Leydig, Voit & Mayer Diversity in IP Law Fellowship

Leydig offers a Diversity in IP Law Fellowship as part of its summer associates program for students finishing their 1L year. As a summer associate, the Diversity Fellow gains a wide range of IP experience in trademark and/or patent law. Leydig’s Fellow will also be assigned a mentor from the firm’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Upon completion of the 1L summer, the Fellow may be eligible for a second summer in the firm’s summer associate program.  The Fellowship includes a $5,000 stipend and a paid summer position to a qualified first-year student of an ABA-accredited law school. The individual chosen must possess a diverse background and a commitment to pursuing an intellectual property (patent or trademark) law career in Chicago with a background in engineering, chemistry and biotechnology.

We are no longer accepting applications for the 2022 Fellowship as this position has been filled.  Please check back in January for information on our 2023 Fellowship.
