Overview

Ms. Fan is a patent prosecution specialist with extensive experience in the areas of computer science and telecommunications. Ms. Fan’s technical university studies were in computer programming and related systems such as electronics, networks and data manipulation. Prior to joining Leydig, Voit & Mayer, she received her Master of Law degree in Intellectual Property, with honors, from The Franklin Thomas Backus School of Law at Case Western Reserve University, where she was a research assistant conducting patent law research. Before her graduate studies, she worked in a prominent IP law firm in Beijing, China, as an assistant attorney drafting and reviewing patent applications and responses in various computer and electronic fields.
