Mr. Joy practices in the fields of intellectual property and cyber security law. Mr. Joy specializes in patent prosecution as well as legal opinions and litigation, with a primary focus in a wide variety of high technology subject matter. Mr. Joy has extensive experience before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. He has substantial experience prosecuting applications and rendering opinions in a wide variety of high technology and information technology areas including: mobile wireless, cyber security, internet of things (IOT), cloud computing, industrial process control, bioengineering (including medical imaging), computer/communications networks, computer operating systems, secure access systems, smart electrical grid, green energy, electric vehicles, plug-in vehicle charging (recharging) infrastructure, vehicle telematics and navigation systems, semiconductor devices, and high energy particle (plasma) generation and practical applications thereof.
