Qi Yu

Overview

Ms. Yu practices intellectual property law, including patent prosecution and patent litigation, in the field of electrical, computer, software, and wireless communication technologies. In addition, she works closely with inventors and conducts patent trainings. She also provides legal opinions on cutting-edge technology related businesses in the semiconductor industry.

Ms. Yu started her career as Radio Frequency System Engineer at a German semiconductor company at its headquarter in Munich, Germany, after which she was employed by a U.S. intellectual property law firm based in Singapore. Ms. Yu worked most recently as In-House Counsel at a major U.S. technology company in Shanghai, China. She is qualified as China Attorney-at-Law and Patent Agent.

While at law school, Ms. Yu served as an Editor of American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA) Quarterly Journal and worked as a Research Assistant.
