Qi Yu

Overview

Ms. Yu practices intellectual property law in a variety of technical fields including electrical, computer, software, and wireless communication technologies.  She is involved in patent preparation and prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.  She also has experienced at the district court level, before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board, and in arbitration-type dispute resolutions.  In addition, she provides legal opinions on cutting-edge technology related businesses in the semiconductor industry.

Ms. Yu started her career as Radio Frequency System Engineer at a German semiconductor company at its headquarter in Munich, Germany, after which she was employed by a U.S. intellectual property law firm based in Singapore.  Ms. Yu worked most recently as In-House Counsel at a major U.S. technology company in Shanghai, China.  She is qualified as China Attorney-at-Law and Patent Agent.
