Leydig, Voit & Mayer will host a seminar at the German Patent Lawyers Association (VPP) meeting on October 22, 2015. The seminar, entitled “Navigating the Turbulent Waters of U.S. Patent Law,” will take place at the MARITIM Hotel in Cologne, Germany. Leydig attorneys Thomas Canty, Wesley Mueller, James Signor and H. Michael Hartmann will speak.
The seminar will discuss the current climate of patent skepticism in the courts, patent validity challenges via the IPR process, prosecuting claims to survive a validity challenge, and infringement remedies and the nexus requirement.
