Kathleen M. Helm-Bychowski

Technical Advisor

Dr. Helm-Bychowski is presently a technical advisor with an emphasis in the areas of chemistry and biotechnology. Prior to joining Leydig, Voit and Mayer, she was a visiting research professor in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago, and an assistant professor of biochemistry and chemistry at DePaul University.

Dr. Helm-Bychowski was a Lando Research Fellow at the University of Minnesota and a post-doctoral associate at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research involved using biochemical techniques such as immunochemistry, restriction enzyme mapping, PCR, and DNA sequencing to study the evolution of organisms, macromolecules, and nuclear/mitochondrial interactions.
