Mr. Winn is active in a variety of areas within intellectual property law, with particular emphasis in patent litigation, patent prosecution and counseling. His practice has included a variety of fields and industries, including semiconductor design and manufacturing, filtration, control systems, telephony and industrial equipment.

Prior to attending law school, Mr. Winn worked as an applications engineer within the semi-conductor industry. His work in the semi-conductor industry included creating customer reference designs using FPGAs and embedded processors. He also worked at a software company, programming user interface modules and configuring backend database systems.
