John L. GaseMember Mr. Gase focuses his practice on prosecution, client counseling, and portfolio management primarily in the areas of biotechnology, chemistry, and related arts. Recent technologies have included small and large molecule cancer drugs; antisense therapy; therapeutic antibodies; nucleic acid probes and microarrays for disease detection; anti-viral therapeutics; pharmaceutical formulations; and various specialty chemical technologies, such as nanoparticle compositions; advanced insulation materials; gypsum board manufacturing; integrated circuit polishing; cosmetic formulations; and inkjet ink and paper technology. Mr. Gase has extensive experience in formulating patent strategies and managing patent portfolios, as well as in counseling and rendering opinions on patent validity and infringement. He also prepares and prosecutes patent applications in the U.S. and abroad.
