Mr. Belz received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering in 1975, and a M.S. in Nuclear Engineering in 1976 from the University of Missouri. He received a J.D. degree in 1980 from the University of Texas. Prior to law school, he worked as an electrical design engineer Mr. Belz is active in all phases of international patent practice.
