Mr. Wyand has prepared and prosecuted patent applications in a variety of technical fields, with an emphasis in semiconductor device technologies -- an area in which he has extensive academic and practical experience. He has also advised clients on patent validity and infringement issues in the electrical and mechanical arts. In addition to his patent law practice, he has had considerable general practice and litigation experience. Prior to joining the firm, he was a research engineer, an attorney with two major general practice law firms, and a senior patent attorney for a large corporation.
