Jamaica P. Szeliga
Counsel
Ms. Szeliga’s practice focuses principally on intellectual property litigation relating to
biotechnology and pharmaceutical matters. She has also litigated cases involving other technologies,
including mechanical devices, communication devices, and high technology products.
Before joining the firm, Ms. Szeliga was Counsel at a major general practice firm with a significant IP practice in Washington, D.C., where she was a member of both the Intellectual Property Litigation and the Appellate and Supreme Court Litigation practice groups. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Arthur J. Gajarsa of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Ms. Szeliga graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School in 2002, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, with a minor in Biology, with distinction, from Stanford University in 1999. She is admitted to the District of Columbia and the New York State bar and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.
