Mr. Bays is actively involved in all phases of domestic and international intellectual property law, with a particular emphasis in litigation, patent preparation and prosecution, licensing and client counseling. He has acted as first and second chair in jury and bench trials and related appellate proceedings in diverse technical fields including polymeric membranes, industrial specialty chemicals, telecommunications equipment, medical devices and household goods. Other fields in which he has experience include electrical connectors, powertrains, transmissions, fluid handling systems, printing presses and other complex manufacturing machinery and processes.
