Dimitry Kapmar

Mr. Kapmar is involved in the practice of intellectual property law, with particular emphasis in patent prosecution, evaluation, and litigation in the electrical and software arts. Mr. Kapmar’s practice also includes rendering opinions on patent validity, infringement, and enforceability, as well as licensing and IP due diligence work for a wide variety of clients.
Mr. Kapmar is knowledgeable in a broad spectrum of technologies, including wireless communications, mobile user authentication, IP multimedia subsystem (IMS), service oriented architecture (SOA), microcontroller architecture, nuclear weapon detection, motion tracking, wireless home automation, thermostatic controllers, audio distribution systems, RFID devices, payment card processing, health care claim processing, electronic trading user interfaces, as well as trading methods and risk modeling in connection with financial services and insurance industries.
Prior to attending law school, he worked as a radio frequency engineer within the wireless communications industry throughout the United States and Europe. He is thoroughly familiar with major wireless communications systems and protocols, as well as with wireless system design and optimization.
