Dr. Borg-Breen practices law in the field of intellectual property, concentrating in the areas of pharmaceutical, biochemical, and chemical litigation, and opinions, with emphasis in patent litigation and consultation arising under the Hatch-Waxman Act. Dr. Borg-Breen has served as trial counsel in patent infringement litigations in the U.S. federal courts and has experience in formulating trial strategies. Dr. Borg-Breen is also active in all phases of domestic and international intellectual property practice, including the preparation and prosecution of U.S. and international patent applications in numerous technical fields, with primary focus on the chemical and pharmaceutical arts. Dr. Borg-Breen has also counseled clients and provided opinions on the issues of patentability, patent validity and enforceability, and freedom-to-operate.
