Angela J. Baylin

Ms. Baylin focuses her practice in the areas of trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, unfair competition and Internet law (including cyber-squatting and domain name disputes). She represents clients in a variety of industries, including insurance and financial services, consumer goods and industrial and commercial products.

Much of Ms. Baylin’s practice is litigation and she has assisted in the representation of numerous clients in the federal courts for both trademark and copyright cases. She has experience with several aspects of litigation, including research, drafting and filing pleadings, discovery and deposition preparation. She also has experience supervising and coordinating trademark litigation in several foreign jurisdictions on behalf of clients based in the U.S.

Ms. Baylin is involved in oppositions and cancellations at the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and is active in non-judicial trademark enforcement and defense. She has experience in the area of Internet law as it relates to trademarks, copyrights, and jurisdictional issues. She is also active in domestic and international trademark prosecution. Ms. Baylin has experience with negotiating settlements, coexistence agreements, licenses, trademark and domain name purchases, and in preparing and analyzing agreements relating thereto. She also has experience in large-scale due diligence projects, domestic and international assignments and other change of ownership projects.
