Elias received a B.S. in mechanical engineering, cum laude, from the Illinois Institute of Technology, a Masters of Engineering Management, with honors, from Northwestern University, and a J.D. from The John Marshall Law School. Alice received a B.S. in materials engineering and a M.S. in medical science from Brown University, and a J.D. from the University of Illinois.
